Sunday, January 31st, 2010

TEXT:

What does it mean to have “hope” in Christ when we find hope nowhere else? What can it mean for our lives, and for the message of our church? We’ll talk about that today.

8/9/2009 – “Tiny Treasures”

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

TEXT: Matthew 13:31-32, 33, 45-46

SUMMARY: Many of Christ’s parables are long, detailed and very involved. Today we’re going to look at another kind of parable — Christ’s “tiny treasures,” those parables that comprise only a sentence or two, yet are just as rich in texture and meaning.

APPLICATION: These tiny treasures are snapshots of the kingdom of heaven. Christ tells us what it should look like, what it should be accomplishing, and why it should matter.
