SUMMARY: As we continue to look at the process we go through of giving gifts, we look at another of the considerations of gift-giving: greeting cards. In addition to what our gifts may be saying, we also enjoy expressing our thoughts and affections through the verses found in greeting cards.

APPLICATION: God has given us countless “greeting cards” down through the centuries. They were delivered through his servants, the prophets. Every one of them shows his great love and concern for all of us. Reading them reminds us again of what a tremendous gift of love that baby in Bethlehem’s manger truly was.
