SUMMARY: Pastor Dan focuses on communion — especially on the reality of what Jesus Christ suffered for us as he gave us “his body” and “his blood.”

APPLICATION: If we truly view communion as being “in remembrance” of Christ, then we must remember both the depth of his suffering and the breadth of how completely he loved us — dying “while we were still sinners.” Jesus literally became us, sacrificing himself for every one of our sins, that our relationship with God could be restored.
