Our Sunday Schedule:

Prayer at 9:00am.  All are welcome and invited to this time!

 

Sunday School 9:15am.  We sing praise and worship music and have a life application lesson by our Sunday School Superintendent.  After the lesson, the Adults, Young Adults, and Children go to their respective classes.

 

Worship 10:30am.  This is a time in which we praise our Lord through music and biblical teaching.  For our music, we have a worship team that includes our own Pastor Dan on the keyboards and they lead the congregation in singing some current praise and worship music that you might hear on a Christian Radio Station like our local radio station KTIS.  We also enjoy some classical hymns of our faith that have been a part of our worship for nearly 120 years.

There are many activities specifically for children during the worship service.  

• Kids Corner:  This is a time during the regular service in which someone from our congregation teaches a lesson to our children. It would be called a mini-children's sermon.  People have read short stories, gave wonderful illustrations on how to get children to think about biblical concepts and given a puppet show.  During a recent Kids Corner, children (and the adults!) learned that Jesus is the Ultimate Superhero!

• Children's Church: While the adults listen to the pastor's sermon, the children can leave and have a time of crafts, stories, lessons, games and lots of fun! 

Sunday Afternoon Bible Study - approximately 1pm(after the weekly fellowship lunch).  Pastor Dan Vesta leads this unique Bible study. 

Pastor Dan opens each study time with a question that has been asked by someone from our church; some of the questions that Pastor Dan has addressed has been "What is up with all the Bible Translations?", "Sabbath; Saturday or Sunday, and does it matter?", "Do all those old testament food laws apply to me?", and many, many others.  Pastor Dan welcomes any and all questions and no question is out of bounds for us to discuss. 

After addressing the weekly question, Pastor Dan leads the group chapter by chapter through one of the books in the New Testament.
